The Differences Between the UK and the American Scene

Hip hop in America started off as a bit of a cultural movement. And I think the UK, maybe in the early years, tried to emulate that. They didn't have the same lived experience. But when I was going through secondary school, it's like 2010 times. I started to see a lot of British rappers start talking about where they're from in their own style,. using their own language and slang.
