I think the first episode of the show was like, literally the day or the day after leman brothers declared bankruptcy. They were able to turn this wonky, arcane financial subject into a narrative that ordinary people could understand and be interested in. It's very chatty. Its smart, like nurdy, but not in the kind of, you know, voice of god castor style."
