What Are the Differences Between ETFs and Index Funds?
Roman Nikisa: I just look for the lowest fee fund, which gives me the exposure I want. With index funds, with O-E-I-C's, what you'll often get is a slew of different share classes. Some fund providers actually have both rappers - Vanguard has FTSE 100 fund as an ETF and mutual fund. But from the point of view, the fund manager, the daily operations, I think it makes hardly any difference.
