The Meaning of the Psyche

Jung had an understanding of the psyche that, for the most part, we tend to lack today. The reality of the psyche was not simply a theoretical construct for Jung. It was a living truth. Only when we participate with all of our being, body, mind, and soul in the life of the psyche do we come to know the aliveness of the psyche? And this takes something like a poetic spirit, a more-than-rational attitude which can allow at least as much of a place for the imagination as for the intellect.
