negative self talk underlies all of this stuff. And part of what you have to do is you have to practice new self talk. We can't even hear ourselves think like any strategy that would involve using our cognition, right? Like telling ourselves something is just not going to work because we're super anxious. That's when breathing is really important. So if you're at a level of like, I'm so anxious, I really don't even know if I can have a conversation with myself right now,. some breathing where help, physical things can help.
