The Importance of Setting Goals
I remember when I first joined trussle, I was like, I wanna be a chief operating officer by 30. And I have no idea why I said that to myself, if I'm being honest. It wasn't that I hadn't just read Cheryl Sandberg's book at that point later. So I think setting a goal was useful in order to set the direction of travel and also the pace of travel. But one thing that I would caution against is it's not to beat yourself up because what you realize is that life happens,. things happen in your organization that you can't predict at all.
