How Do You Study Chess?

My approach is very simple I get out a I've got a board that's about a 12 by 12 inch board so it sits comfortably on my desk. I play a move and then I think about what the next move is going to beI always set up from the white side because the books tend to show from the white size easier to double check that my position is correct. Neil: People who came up in the digital age they often feel like if they don't study it with a physical board then feel sitting down at the board for a real game can be too foreign. A lot of it just comes down to your experience level.
