Cordyceps in an Ant or Caterpillar

A spore of cordyceps falls on either an ant or a small caterpillar. It slowly eats away at the insides of the ants brain and neuromass so that it can do things like climb up a plant. The fungus hijacks the entire ants neural system as well as its brain which causes them to all of a sudden have an insatiable need to climb higher than they've ever been before.
