Referal systems are usually optint and can be ignored entirely by everybody involved if you don't want to use it justo. There're many reasons why a refer system wouldn't work too well, or at all. Customers would admit that they need the savings from the refurl system. We do not like admitting that we're not able to afford something. If sharing a link makes other people think cheap, you would not share it.
