A lot of people are struggling to create something alive and committed within marriage. It's very easy to think that what i would call a kind of cheap validation will give you the fulfilment you're looking for, rather than learning how to create something more real in your marriage. There's also a lot of gender ideas about how the other person is going to make sexuality ok for you, right? So both men and women inher a lot of anxiety about sex. The only problem is they don't have the validation to give because they are also in an uncomfortable relationship to pleas and sensuality often.
