Badu: philosophy wagers on the truth, whereas sophistry seems to like want to diminish that. Guatore was definitely in the thick of it, you know, he definitely didn't shy away from that activity. He's still thinking through the role of the simulacra overturning the model copy relation and sort of the crown anarchy of simulation running wild. And so in that statement about what the least becomes greater than the greatest when it's taken to the limits of what it can do, that I think is a good reminder of why Plato and Socrates seem to have a distaste for sophistry because it makes the weaker argument stronger than the strongest.
