Is It a Good Idea to Resuscitate a Sickle Cell Disease Patient?
A lot of the time patients start to siccle because of hypo valemia and general ndehydration. Hypovolemia certainly is not good. It can promote sickling. A lot of these folks with sickle cell disease may have cardiac dis function, r b dis function, kinne dis function,. So just like parking them on a maintenance fluid infusion may not be agreted. And i wouldn't necessarily just like, put them on some random rate of fluid forever.
