Richie's Disappearance

A taxi driver later came forward claiming that he had picked Richie up from the King's Hotel in Cardiff Before driving him around a number of Welsh Valley towns including Richie's hometown of Blackwood The driver claimed that although the passenger had spoken in a cockney accent It had occasionally slipped into a Welsh one which had sounded considerably more natural. He also stated that the passenger had gotten out at the Severn View service station in South Gloucestershire And this gives his claims a great deal of credence indeed. In mid February Richie's car was discovered at this very same service station with a dead battery and there was ample evidence that Richie had been living in the car for some time.
