Is RCS Free?

SMS messages are free in the US for most wireless carriers like AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. RCS is free on Android devices and is not part of the plan. It just needs Google's message app, which is pre-installed on most pixel devices or you can download it on non-pixel devices. The color of iPhone iMessages is blue and green for everyone else.
