The phrase is from first corinthians 13, when paul says, hey, you can have all these great virtues, knowledge, truth, whatever, but without love, you're like an empty gong. And in that description of first corinthian 13, there's a list of descriptions of love that's often read at weddings and so forth,. But it's really quite profound. The we worship a god that does not ist on his own way.
