The Importance of Indentured Stakeholders

When you get off the boat as an indentured servant, all of a sudden it could be up to like seven years. You are now stuck. Where are you going to go? Now some did successfully, and this actually happened more than people are willing to admit, run away and be welcomed into indigenous groups. Some ran away and being British and maybe representing British ideals, did not get to survive when they tried to join indigenous groups because they were seen obviously at this point as enemies.
