The Tension of Homey

Jeremiah 2911: No hands? No jakers? I have never ever seen more verses that have been cross-ditched in bathrooms than that verse. He was made fun of for his ministry, he was put into a pit and he was eventually stoned to death by the people he preached to. Never had one convert his entire life. And so what do we have to do in order to navigate the mockery? We have to believe this, that if we're demonized following God, that's okay because in time, like this text shows to us, there will be a lionizing that happens.
