The Changes in Shanghai

The Expo in 2010 was kind of a coming out party for Shanghai. In 2001, the United States had a sort of a quasi dog fight to a certain extent with a spy plane that crashed in Hainan after running into a Chinese fighter jet. There was basically a hostage situation in Hainen Island back in 2001; then there was a couple of years prior to that. Man, it's hard to imagine that time. I wouldn't say targeting Americans, but it was the threat because it was you know, because it was an attack on Chinese sovereignty.
