CSE and CSE Pain Relief
Three studies looked at things like onset and pain scores during labor. The CSE group had low pain scores, less than 5 out of 10, at 5 minutes compared to the epidural group, which took 20 minutes to lower their pain scores. Time to complete analgesia was 10 minutes in the CSE group versus again 20 minutes in the epidural Group. And more women in the C SE group had a pain score of zero sometime in the first age of labor compared to 30% in the epidural group.
