Wyatt was born at 31 weeks, around the 5th percentile for his gestational age. He died of foremanence necrotizing enterocolitis two days after being intubated and placed on a ventilator. Seven years later, Wyatt's brother had to be put on an ECMO machine because he wasn't breathing well. The NICU team left no stone unturned in caring for this little boy who would go on to live a full life.
