In 17 21, which is the same year that mary's daughter over in england became the first person that was inoculated on british soil. That same year, boston was suffering a major smallpox epide. Cotton mather and his doctor sprang into action and managed to inoculate 200 and forty two people, of which only six died. People still objected, to a point where they threw a bomb through the window of cotton mather's house.
