Journalists are becoming increasingly like artists, people who pretend they're slumming it when many have at least a healthy rainy day fund or a small apartment n a distant aunt left them. As long as you have no college loans and can free lands for two hundred dollars an article for years, it's not impossible to make it on your own. A lot of us come from at least an u middle class background, and don't like to talk about it. We draw from a limited pool of people who generally have a similar background class. They are simply unable to see the of people who are not like them, and tend to drive out those who don't fit in....
