I wanted to go into investing and I'm sitting there thinking like well if everybody's lying to me like how can I do this so I decided to go to law school because I had this amorphous notion that going to law school would help me better protect myself against these predators in the markets. By 2009 late 2009 I was barely keeping a self-storage company from failing so success I had redefined success as not being successful. So then my friend got into some financial trouble and had to pull the rip cord and you know I was left with the company and that's when things got very hard and unfun.
