Is Morality an Expression of Attitude?
I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that morality is an expression of attitude. So if I say the Boris Johnson's a bad thing, it would be an expression of by attitude to the way he behaves. But in expressing it, I'm not simply emoting or sounding off. The public act is partly one of trying to solicit agreement. Some opinions are much more objective than others. There's no conceivable dissent from it, except from people I've already mentioned. Have I gone on for three minutes? Good. Wonderful. Do you have any other ideas about what we should talk about today? Email us at: editorial@dailymailonline.co.uk.
