Isometrics can be a good compliment to like qon normal training, because there's no eccentric component. concentric only training is logistically quite challenging to set up unless you have specialized equipment or a very, very understanding part of it. Isometrics performed at long muscle lengths seem to be pretty good for hypertrophy.
