Die Hard's White House Down Uses Diagonal Leading Lines in Its Production Design
Love lines the most important and underrated aspect of the visual language is lines. The White House kind of operates with a lot of corners and T intersections. A compound shot is something with one background and then something happens to the camera or to the movement of the subjects in the camera, now I have a completely different type of shot. And so it's just the simple transmutation that happens.
