The Impossible to Know Yourself
We can never know as beloved why another person loves us. And actually for ourselves, we can never answer the question why we love another person with full confidence either. So in the context of dating, I have to say, when I ghosted, one of the things that was really shocking is that I felt comfortable committing a kind of violence just because it was unspoken and passive and invisible.
