James II - A Brief History
In 1660, the English parliament invited Charles to come back and retake the throne in England. James naturally was able to return with him. He reclaimed that title and actually took up command of the navy. But soon his popularity would come under strain because of his family life. His brother King Charles still had no children although he was young and perfectly capable of fathering children.
