Keeping the Momentum of the Story Propulsing Forward

Use the cliches as much as you need while you're constructing the story. Don't slow down your momentum of running because you can't figure out a different way to get into a closet. A lot of readers are going to say, y whatever. I want to see what's going to happen next.
