Suffering Is Redemptive

Suffering and humiliation will either soften our hearts or harden our souls. The biblical story does not sidestep the tragedy, but it faces it head on. Suffering can be the place you never want to go, but also the place that you would be never, never be the same without write. Rona rolheiser: We don't choose to let suffering into our lives.
