The Importance of the Eucharist
The reason why we believe that Jesus Christ is truly, really, and substantially present in the Eucharist is because he himself said so, right? 1406. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. He eats my flesh and drinks my blood, it's eternal life abides me and I in him. There we have it, paragraphs 1406 to 1419. It's almost one of those situations where you're like, okay, what can we say? Like truly, what canWe say? Well there's a couple of things that are said relatively new. They're nuts and bolts points, but they're highly, highly important.
