The Importance of Altruism

Is there a place for having both principles operating in your life at the same time or are they mutually exclusive? Graham: We should give more charity to certain people based on the closeness to us, but it's not because we get something from them. I don't think it's just purely completely neutral, altruistic charity where everyone gets sort of an equal share of you. It's the altruism of the faith mixed with the practicalities of still being a human.
