The Ideal Timeframe for Options
The most liquidity the options have are on the short end of the curve. Even for S&P, which is a very liquid market, it's extremely difficult to get a fill on the near the mid price. If you're swing trading or day trading, it's very likely doing that with options where there's a lot of liquidity. You're not going to day trader swing trade or going in and out with two year options.
