The Life and Times of Saint Louis
Saint Louis was born in Western France in Brittany. He grew up as the oldest of a huge family with 18 children, although almost half of them died in childhood. Like most Christian families, he had some problems and his father seemed to be too focused on kind of worldly concerns like making money. This is all in his later life, this will inform his thinking. Even his education. For sure.
