AMD TPM Exploit Defeats BitLocker and TPM Based Security
A new tool shows if your car might be tracking you or selling your data. This is a free tool from Privacy for Cars, which provides some insight on whether your vehicle is collecting or sharing location and other types of data. Researchers have revealed that AMD's firmware based trusted platform module can be fully compromised via a voltage fault injection attack. The researchers accomplished the feat using off the shelf components that cost about $200 to attack the AMD PSP present in Zen 2 and Zen 3 chips.
