I grew up with a strong family nucleus of both parents and then being investors. So I was extremely fortunate in that regard. My dad, he used to be an engineer for Sydney water actually. He had investments and he had some income from that but it wasn't very much. Just asking him for money was super, super uncomfortable. But at the end of the day, I'm glad and grateful because I really did learn the value of money. And we never went hungry. What about you? Is there anything your rich friend status symbol is?
