Introduction

Someone tweeted a clip of a video that appears to have been a news report from 1983 around the first screening of The Return of the Jedi. It got me thinking again about how different things were in the 1980s. This one isn't even the best at showing it, but it's really informative and I'm going to use it as a jumping off point to talk about the 1980s a little bit. And then about how things have changed today.
