Sunaina Myra is professor of Asian American Studies at UC Davis. She has contributed a chapter about Yemeni American life to the forthcoming book, Disciplinary Futures. When Sunaina and I connected recently she began with these comments about the situation in Yemen. What started happening in 2015, but what had begun actually many years earlier, led to the world's worst humanitarian crisis.
