"There's a lot that these technologies can do to empower individuals," says Nita Gupta. "It all depends on who has access to what's happening in your brain, how is it used or how is it misused" There are some really promising treatments for people with ADHD and epilepsy using biometrics as part of clinical trials. We have choices to make that could set the terms of service in favor of individuals, she adds.
