Headless is a tailwind library that gives you both React and view components for, I'm pretty sure it's using React Aria behind the scenes. You can still add your own additional markup inside of each of these ones, but these are the bones that you have. And then you can go from there on out and start to add all of the different classes. Headless UI seems like it's just void of any initial styles. It looks like they will also give you like a set of pre-made UI components, which you can then start to tweak and whatnot without having to like import a whole bunch of stuff and have worry, have to worry about updating and whatnot.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk about what headless components are, the why and when to use headless components, and how to best implement them.
