Oklahoma Is an Americana Classic

Oklahoma is based on this like weird dark play about the erosion of Native American rights and all of these things. Rogers and Hammerstein turn it into this musical with some of the greatest music ever written. When it opens it opens right in the midst of World War II. The movie of it that was made in the 50s which is a terrible movie. We're never going to discuss it on this podcast.
