The Liberal Lens and the Radical Lens of Anti-Racism
I thought it was really striking in 2020 with United States here where I'm based. We had something like 15 million people on the streets that summer. It was about saying there are these institutional forces, these large structures in USSI that are bound up with racism and we need to dismantle them. And then after that you saw another kind of way of thinking about racism that you saw coming out of the White House or major corporations. That's a radical anti-racism that basically understands racism as a matter of how our resources distributed between different racial groups.
