What Happened to Netscape?

Netscape went public four days before spyglass debuted on the NASDAQ. The company was a year and a half old at that point; it had only made two quarters of any revenue growth. Jim Clark's own Silicon Graphics had gone public in 1986, but at that point it had been in business for five years. To make the IPO date Clark wanted, they had three weeks to get the paperwork together.
