When we refer to user-generated content, though, it has such a broad definition as you said, and it's really actually hard to categorize it. What led me to this formulation of the playground and the stage as sort of the two interesting ways to look at user-generatedcontent was actually an exploration of this idea of gaming styles that came from Bartle's Taxonomy.
