Peter Norton: Elon Musk is a great person to choose because he demonstrates by his personal example that autonomous is much more about salesmanship, about marketing, about showmanship really than it is about say policy or engineering know how. He says the idea of tunnels in which passenger cars going one car at a time is going to solve your problems is laughably absurd and this is not me going out on a limb.
