How to Manage Your Tell for Teachers

The less you say, the more students are saying to in the same amount of time. What tends to happen is they want to shoehorn everything other than their key bit of content to the very margins of the lesson. So what you're doing by saying, thank you or that's one contribution. Let's go to the next one. That's two contributions. You're actually helping the students to see that the audience for their contribution is not the teacher. It's the class.
