The Origins of Lake Monsters

According to the Sealha First Nation people, Okanagan Lake has always been home to a water spirit. European fur traders arrived in the early 1800s and told stories of a monster that lived in the lake. They even made trinkets and merchandise with drawings of the imaginary creature on them.
