The zodiac sent a greeting card to the San Francisco Chronicle. Inside was a pher with 300 and forty different characters. Accompanying the card was a handwritten letter that read, this is the zodiac speaking. It claimed he'd killed seven people in October - but only five had been victims of his crimes. He went on to boast about how he avoided detection by wearing a disguise and coating his finger tips with aeroplane cement while committing his crimes.
