The Biggest Risk Is Inflation
Central banks globally and in the US have been made independent. The idea that they're supposed to operate outside of politics is a very difficult thing to do. So if we try to pivot too strongly towards worrying about issues regarding growth and unemployment, it actually leads to worse outcomes. And so I think we're not there yet, but this is kind of the early stages of something that could end up looking like the 1970s.
