The Conlanging Experience

When he did, when I started conlanging, my parents were just kind of befuddled by, why am I doing this? But then, uh, something kind of happened that was really interesting. At the time, Arabic support on, on the web was very bad. This is just at the edge of Unicode becoming a standard. And I actually got involved into a small startup that was interested in the designing interfaces for Arabic for the web. It didn't do very well but became absolutely very quickly.
